Student discount
Unfortunately, M&S doesn't offer a student discount when using either your NUS card or UniDAYS account.
NHS discount
Are you an NHS or healthcare worker? Enjoy 3% online or instore cashback every time you shop when you using Health Service Discounts Cashback Card (free for the first 12 months, then a yearly fee of £2.99). Valid in conjunction with any sales and special offers.
Shwop and get a £5 voucher
Are you clearing out your wardrobe? Bring your unwanted clothes to Oxfam shops or put them into a 'Shwop Drop' box in participating M&S stores and receive a voucher for £5 off £35+. The voucher is valid on your next purchase of clothing, home or beauty products in participating M&S stores. Every donation that contains at least one item of M&S-labelled clothing will be eligible for the voucher (1 voucher per visit).
You can also donate M&S-labelled soft furnishings. Note that you can donate M&S bras but donation of swimwear, underwear, socks or damaged items is not allowed. Find out more about how shwopping works on the Oxfam.org.uk website.
Newsletter discount
There is currently no discount for those who sign up for the M&S UK or M&S IE email newsletter.
Where do you enter the discount code?
Add any products to your shopping bag and click on the "View bag & checkout" or
Make sure you are on the UK version of the M&S website, as discount codes are only valid for specific countries. Bear in mind that an IE or US promotion code is not valid for use on the UK Marks and Spencer website.
You might be having trouble applying your code and seeing this message: "The promo code has either expired or is not applicable to the items you have in your bag. Please enter the code exactly as printed, including dashes." Please note that some of the codes are account-specific, unique (cannot be used more than once) and valid only on specific products/brands. There is an M&S FAQ help page describing in detail how to use a promo code and why the code may not work.
Note: if you have a Reward Voucher (13 digit number), this voucher is different from a promotion code and must be entered on the Payment details page during checkout. Click "Change payment type" and select "Pay by reward vouchers".
Sparks card - Sparks for you
Join the M&S membership program (Sparks) and enjoy exclusive benefits and offers. Join the club online and pick up the card in store - it's free. You can then add the card to your account online or via the M&S app.
Soon after applying for the card, you will be prompted to choose your preferred offer.
Choose wisely because as a new member, you have only one offer slot available!
You also collect Sparks every time you shop/shwop/write a review. These Sparks (points) can be used to add extra offer slots or to gain priority access to sales and new ranges or collections.
Register online to get your Spark membership. If you shop instore, you can also ask for a physical Sparks card which you can scan at the till.
One more reason to shop with the Sparks card is that M&S will donate 1p to a charity of your choice.
