NHS discount

NHS workers can enjoy these savings on top of any current offers:

  • £100 OFF - Save an extra £100 per booking, in addition to any other package holiday discounts. Min spend: £1200. Spending under £1200? You'll still get an extra £30 off your booking. The discount is automatically applied across the TUI Holidays for Heroes site. All bookings must be made using a valid NHS email.
  • An extra £30 OFF with discount code NHS30, via Health Service Discounts (membership required). Valid on overseas beach, lakes & mountains package holidays when you spend £800 or more, departing between 1st May 2026 and 31st October 2027. Accommodation-only, flight-only, cruise and ski bookings are excluded. Full details.

For the Holidays for Heroes discount, a valid NHS email address is required belonging to one of the passengers on the booking. For the NHS30 code, you must be a Health Service Discounts member, the lead passenger, and travel on the booking.

Does TUI offer a student discount?

Yes! Through Student Beans, verified students can use a TUI student discount code at checkout to get £50 off per booking (with a minimum £500 spend).

  • Package holidays booked on the TUI website only – not accommodation-only, flight-only, Marella, TUI River Cruise or Crystal bookings.
  • Valid on departures up to 31st October 2027.
  • At least 1 adult (18+) per booking, and the £500 minimum is worked out before extras like insurance, seat selection and room upgrades.

TUI discount questions

Does TUI offer a Blue Light Card discount?

Yes, but not as a code you will find on tui.co.uk. Blue Light Card lists up to £100 extra off TUI holidays as its current offer. You reveal the code in your member account and enter it at checkout, it can be used on more than one booking, and it doesn't work on flight-only bookings.

Members also get £30 off TUI holidays booked through Holiday Hypermarket. Applied automatically when you click through from your account, with no code to insert. Always check if you are eligible first - there is an eligibility checker covering the NHS, police, fire service, teachers, social care and the armed forces, so it's the quickest way to find out whether you qualify.

Please note: TUI's help centre confirms that Smiles Rewards Club codes can't be used with an NHS or Blue Light Card discount.

Is there a TUI discount for teachers?

Yes, through Discounts for Teachers. Membership is free for teaching and education staff.

Is there a TUI discount for disabled travellers?

Purpl Disabled Discounts lists TUI offers for disabled people in the UK. Membership is verified with a Blue Badge, PIP or a disability benefit award.

Is there a TUI discount code for first-time customers?

No. TUI doesn't run a first-order or new-customer discount code, and there's no sign-up voucher for booking with them for the first time.

The closest thing is joining the TUI Smiles Rewards Club. It's free, you get 200 Welcome Smiles immediately, and the Level 1 member codes are the same ones long-standing customers see.

Can you use two TUI discount codes together?

No. Only one promo code can be applied per booking. TUI also says its Smiles Rewards Club codes can't be used with an NHS or Blue Light Card discount, and can't usually be combined with other TUI promo codes.

Free kids' places are the exception worth knowing about. They can be combined with an online discount code, so find your free child place first and then apply the code.

TUI Smiles Rewards Club is TUI's new reward programme. It's free to join and instead of points you collect Smiles.

Join now and you get 200 Welcome Smiles straight away, which puts you in Level 1 of 3:

Where do you enter the discount code?

1. Once you've chosen your holiday on the official TUI.co.uk website, continue to the booking process by clicking the yellow "Continue" or "Book now" button.

2. Depending on your booking, you will find the "discount code" field box on:

  • Summary page - when booking a package holiday - pictured below
  • Booking page/Passengers details page - when booking a flight
  • Passengers details page - when booking a cruise

3. Click on the blue APPLY button to see if the voucher code has been accepted. You may see the following error message "The discount code you entered is not valid", even if you've submitted a valid code. This is because you can't use a flight voucher code for cruises or package holidays, and vice versa. Always check the full T&Cs of a promotion.

Note: You are limited to one discount code per booking.
